New Flag

Thank you to Ace Pointer of Calgary who hoisted a new flag at the Museum recently. Whenever a Canadian soldier loses his life over in Afgahnistan, it flys at half-mast in appreciation and respect for those who risk their lives for Peace and safety everywhere. We appreciate his interest and attending to this very important matter at our Museum whenever he is "camping out" in Avonlea to get away from all the stress of working in a busy city like Calgary. Ace is the son of the late Cecil Pointer whose life-time career was serving in the Peace Corp around the world.
